The RED Grants aim to fortify the agricultural sectors and invigorate rural communities by supporting eligible projects that create jobs and deliver significant economic benefits to rural areas, focusing on primary production value chains.
Funding supports a variety of activities, including capital expenditures on project-exclusive buildings, equipment, consumables, travel, accommodation, project-specific training, and professional support. Additionally, salary and associated costs for project-dedicated staff and professionals are covered. However, the grant does not cover expenses for already commenced activities, replacement or repair of existing infrastructure, land purchases, non-project related training, feasibility studies, or administrative costs.
